In the last few month....

Well a lot of you probably already know, but for those of you who don't, and for those of you who want to see some picture's I have finally sat down to give you all an update of what's been going on in our lives.

Thomas and his dad drew out a very important archery tag in the Paunsaugunt unit. It is a little town, well I'm not really sure if you would call it a town, but it about 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon. Apparently this is or was a really big deal. So we packed up for nine days so they could shoot their deer. Well Thomas ended up shooting one on the very last day we were there, and his dad never got one. I can't believed I survived nine days in a camper... who would have thought!

Shortly after we got back from hunting. We started building our house! We have had a few bumps in the road, but that is expected when you are building it yourselves I guess. We are super excited! It's going to be in Riverton, about 1.5 miles from where we live now. We feel very blessed and thankful for the opportunity we have to build a home right now. Here are a few pictures. They have started framing it now, I just haven't taken any pictures of that yet, because we fired our first framer, and the new one starts on Monday!

Thomas, his dad, Ryan, and our neighbor poured our basement floor last saturday. It was raining that day, so I didn't go get any pictures, but a huge THANKS to them as well!

Tim McGraw

Last night we went to Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum with some of our good friends Brandon and Kylee. This was the fourth time I have seen Tim, I had seen him at the Blackfoot Fair years ago, then I went to his and Faith Hill's concert twice here in Salt Lake. This concert was at USANA, we got seats this time rather than the grass, and they turned out being really good seats, I don't think I'll ever go to another concert out there on the grass!

Here we are with our $3.75 bottle of coke, what a freaking rip, I really wanted water, but they ran out! Mind you this was before the concert even started... Who Does That?

Happy Mother's Day!

I thought I would write a little about my wonderful Mom! I am very grateful for all that my mom has done for me in my life. She has always been there for me through thick and thin, even when I was a brat. I totally appreciate her for all the love and support she has given me. She truly is the most giving person I have ever known. She has taught me how to do the best I can in everything I do, how to be caring for others, to stand up for what I believe in, and many other things. Thanks for all you do mom you're the best! Happy Mother's Day to You! I love you more than you know!

We're Still ALIVE!

So I know I haven't posted since like November.. So this is going to be quite the post.. If you continue reading you will find odds and ends of what we have been up to.... I haven't been taking any pictures lately so this is what you get!

Thomas has been super busy. He got a new job at EIMCO, which is a place that designs water treatment plant. He is loving it. He is doing what he is earning his degree in so he is really enjoying it. We are so blessed for him to be able to find a good job, and we are so grateful!

Thomas has also been working really hard on this wonderful piece.. which they call a Moonbuggy. It's his senior design project, and it consumes most... well I should say ALL of his free time. Him and his group are going to Alabama in April to compete, and hopefully they will win.

Ali got married. I am so happy for her! It was also so much fun seeing all of my friends!

Thomas turned 24! I got him an ice cream cake with an ice fisherman on it... totally up his alley!

~GIRLS WEEKEND~

In the middle of October Belinda, Shelli, and I went to the Lion King in Las Vegas. I LOVED IT! It was seriously so good! I highly recommend it to everyone! The costumes were so amazing, the music was awesome, our seats were great, we were right on the end of an aisle, and the cast came right down beside us. It was TOTALLY COOL!

We went to the new mall in Vegas and did some shopping. And then we ate at the CPK! LOVE IT!

~THE MIGHTY DUCK HUNTERS~

The duck hunt opened the first weekend in October, so Thomas has been spending his time shooting a LOT of ducks. The opening weekend he goes will all his cousins to Strawberry. Lately he has been hunting in Idaho on my dad's property. I don't even really see him when we go there cause he leaves around 6:30 or 7:00 and then comes home for a few hours and sleeps, and then goes back out until dark. One weekend his friend Brandon and his cousin Ty came up with us. Lets just say they shot a LOT of ducks. Luckily my dads hired help really likes duck meat, so they don't go to waste. I went on one drive with them, I will NEVER go again. It makes me to sad to see the ducks flying around just living their life and then BANG their dead.

This was one night when they came home and all of them looked liked a boy on Christmas morning. Their eyes were big when they came in the house and asked me to take the picture... There's just a little over their limit I think!

Thomas actually has made something that he calls "The Vortex" I don't have any pictures of it, but what it is, is a pull that has one duck on each end, that is ran by a motor and then the ducks look like they are flying. So then it brings the ducks in so they can shoot them. It's TOTALLY COOL!

Brad Paisley

Thomas and I went to Brad Paisley with some of our friends Max and Jenni!

It was SOOOOOOO much fun! I love all his music, and not to mention Dierks Bentley was with him! It was at USANA and we lucked out. If any of you have been to a concert at USANA then you know that the line usually raps all around the parking lot to get in. But Jenni and I thought it we would be slick and slide right up in the front of the line as they opened the gates! So we got some good seats on the lawn. What a good night it was!
