Wicked

For Christmas Thomas's parents gave us Wicked tickets!!! It felt like it was so far way, but the time has come and gone. We went last night! If you have not had the opportunity to see this I highly recommend you spend the money to see it!! If you need some one to go with you I would love to!! We went with Clay, Belinda, Ryan and Shelli. It was a great Sunday night! Thanks to Clay and Belinda for the tickets! These pictures aren't from last night, you could take pictures, so I got them off the internet, these were some of my favorite parts of the production!

~Our Newest Addition~

Since Thomas and I have been married I have wanted to get a dog... I was sold on a Yorkie, since that's what I had before, and Loved it!! When I saw a Yorkiepoo in the fabric store the other day, I thought they were so cute. 

So this morning Thomas was looking on KSL and found some Yorkiepoo's for sell, that weren't that expensive, so we made the drive to Pleasant Grove, and ended up coming home with this little gal!!! She is so little, I don't think that she weights more than a pound right now! The people we bought her from said she won't get any bigger than 4 1/2 or 5 pounds. I can't wait to take her to Idaho so my sisters and nieces can see her, She is so cute.. 

Don't let Thomas fool you about not wanting her, because since we have gotten her he wants to hold her all the time. This will be a fun adventure for us!!! 

We haven't decided on  a name yet, so we want some votes. These are the names we like; 

Trixi, Tinker Bell, or Sugar... We can't wait to hear your input! 

Latest Happenings!

Okay so I know it's been a long time since I have posted, so this will be a little bit of everything that has been going on with us in the last month. Both of us have been really busy with school, and that makes it hard to do much else. So here it goes!!!!!

Thomas's grandparents on the Holt side have a winter home in Arizona, and we were able to go and stay with them over spring break. We drove, and if any of you know me at all you all know that I really hate the car... So Thomas being the awesome husband he is, bought me a car charger for my computer, so I could watch movies the whole way to keep me entertained. My brother in-law rode down with us, so he was able to keep Thomas company on the way. On our way back we took it in two days, and stayed in Vegas.

This was our hotel room, that we got on priceline for $80, normally $189! We love priceline!

This is the new bridge over Hoover Dam.... It was so big!!! I would not want to be the one on the end of this bridge working that is for sure. There are a few more pictures of the bridge.

One day in Arizona we were able to meet up with a girl I work with and swim at their hotel water park!! It was really fun and let me just tell you I LOVE the SUN!!! Thomas enjoyed his $4 drink while he was catching some rays!

Thomas was able to golf three days we were there and he loved it!

I golfed one of the days, and decided I officially suck at the game, and just get mad!

We also had a few visitors at our house lately... I love it when family comes!!! We had Jen and Derek's family, Greg and Tasha's Family, Mom and Dad, Ty, Chase, and friends, and Jayson. When Jen and Derek were here McKell, Mom, Jen and I made some blocks for McKell that said her name... What fun!

Braxton brought guitar hero, and I'm sure we were the best band ever!!!!

Mom and Dad were down the same weekend as Jen and Derek, so we went to the Salt Lake Temple, and also celebrated Mom and Dad's Birthday while they were here!!!

The Taylors (my sister's family) Welcomed the cutest little boy into their family. Jaden Max Taylor... So cute. We were able to go to Idaho and see him and hang out with my family!

We also have been to a few Jazz games Thanks to my friend Katie... She always hooks us up with some ticket!!! Thanks Katie!!!!

And Last but not least.. Scentsy's spring/summer catalog is now out, they have some really cute warmers, and great new scents, and Tasha was nice enough to have a Scentsy Party at her house this last weekend... It was a great party... Thanks Tasha!!!!

Just NOT My Cup Of Tea...

So as many of you know I have been working as a Dental Assistant for about 4 1/2 years. I have only been working 3 days a week and have really enjoyed myself. It worked perfect with me going to school and having a part time job. On my days off I would go to the gym, clean my house, do homework, and attend the spa on occasion (by far my favorite thing)!! Needless to say the Doctor that I work for decided he wanted to buy another office and take me with him to start it up.... So you guessed it I'm now working 5 days a week. Let me just tell you I have NEVER worked 5 days a week in my whole life! So after the first week was over, I got home from work and I must have looked tired or something, because Thomas comes in and asked me what happen to you? The only response I had was "This working 5 days a week is just not my cup of tea!!" He probably laughed for about 10 minutes, and had no sympathy for me at all. The only thing he said was "welcome to the real world dear!!" And then proceed to laugh! I have now adjusted to this working 5 days a week, but my house is now a mess everyday, and dinner sometimes doesn't get cooked. But at least I'm staying on top of my 14 credit hours!

SISTER SISTER

So I have officially decided that I have the greatest sister's and mother in the world... This is just a little shout out to all my sisters, mom and sister in-law! I love every one of them like words cannot describe! We all have so much fun when we are together... even if it is just sitting around mom's house talking about nothing. I have realized since I have moved away how much each one of these amazing women have influenced my life in one way or another. It's hard for me to live away from all of them and I know Jennifer can relate! So I would like to thank every one of you guys... YOU'RE AWESOME!!! SISTER POWER!!!! 

So I'm finally going back to school after taking two semesters off! Last semester I was very sad when everyone was starting up school and I wasn't... It seriously made me sad. But now I am officially and Aggie! I have wanted to go to Utah State for a very long time and I'm finally doing it! I'm actually at there extension program in Salt Lake this semester and next semester I'll either be in Logan or Tooele... I'm not sure which one yet. I will be applying for the Elementary Education program in March, and will hopefully get in next semester. If so then I will only have 3 semester until I'm done!!! YES I can't wait!!! 

Thomas will be attending the U this semester to finish up his mechanical engineering degree! He is almost done as well. He has about three semester left!  I think he is excited, and a little stressed out. I know he just wants to get it done and over with. So for these next few months both of us will be pretty busy with school. 

 Pre Christmas 

A few days before we took off to Idaho we did Christmas with Thomas family. It was great. Thomas's parents gave a folding table with 4 chairs along with a 6' table! I have been wanting both of these for a long time. His parents also gave us WICKED tickets!!! I'm so very excited for this I have wanted to see this for a very long time so thanks to Clay and Belinda. We also got the board game Ticket to Ride form Ryan and Shelli. If you haven't ever played this game, you should because it's great! Thanks guys!!! (I didn't take my camera this night so sorry there's no pictures)

Idaho Christmas 

For our first Christmas together Thomas and I were able to spend the holiday's in Idaho with my family. We really enjoyed ourselves other than the freezing cold weather. Thomas went hunting almost every morning and then we just spent time with my family, playing games, watching movies, and tried to stay warm. 

On Christmas Eve we had a way good dinner, and then opened presents, played chimes, and had our talent show. On Christmas Day we got up, opened presents, and then tried to go around to all of my siblings houses, but we got stuck in two driveways not to mention that my dad got the big tractor stuck at one point, so we didn't make it to everyones that day, but made the rounds on a different day.

I love Christmas morning shots... Thomas is a great husband... he got me a CRICUT!!! I have wanted one of these forever!!! 

Here are my parents opening their gifts that we all of us gave them. We gave them a digital picture frame, and a scrapbook that I made form our big trip!!! We loaded all of our pictures on their frame, I think they liked it!
